The Red Lake Review

The Red Lake Review

You will soon be able to click through the pages of this ‘fictitious’ online newspaper which covers many of Red Lake’s most historical moments, beginning in the year of the great gold discovery in 1925 to present day.

This newspaper, while it stands alone as a resource for general Red Lake history, also acts as a support material for the A One Way Ticket: Red Lake's Immigration Story online exhibit. It will put into context the conditions immigrants were living in and how the community transformed with their ingenuity, hard work, and cultural diversity, with many of the immigrants making the front page.
