Red Lake Arts
Red Lake is home to an extremely rich arts culture. It is highlighted by the Woodland Arts movement, a unique artistic style that explores lines and colours in interesting and spectacular ways. It is also home to sculptors, painters, photographers and many other types of artists.
The Heritage Centre features many great First Nation artists like Norval Morrisseau, Gordon Fiddler, Joshim Kakegamic and Barry Peters just to name a few.
Our gift shop also features many talented local artists such as Patrick Hunter, Tannis Bray and Jeanette Marcotte. So come and explore Red Lake's art at the Heritage Centre!
The Red Lake Arts Council presents Artist Network Nights! Do you have questions about how to present your work? How about writing an artist statement? Maybe you just want to see what inspires other people. Take this amazing opportunity to be part of the conversation.
