It is never the intent of Porcupine (Kagh) to inflict pain upon others. Quite to the contrary, as anyone who has ever had the good fortune to encounter Porcupine knows, he is one of the most gentle-natured creatures to dwell upon Turtle Island. However, those who disturb or attack Porcupine might find themselves stung by his self-protective quills. His essentially peaceful and quiet nature exemplifies the way we should live our own lives by walking gently on Mother Earth in a way that respects all other forms of life. Miigwetch Kagh for your lessons.
