Online Strategic Planning Survey

The Heritage Centre would like to thank you for participating in our second part of the community planning session for the Heritage Centre’s upcoming strategic plan.

During the first part of the community planning session brainstorming was done to decide what the most important topics are to the people of Red Lake. Questions are broken up into several topics. Note that all questions with a red star (*) must be filled out. Once you are finished the questions please hit the submit button on the bottom of the page.

    About You

To start, the Heritage Centre needs some information about you. Don't worry, the survey is anonymous. We will use the information that we collect in this section to determine if different groups of people are interested in different things.

    Community Research

The Heritage Centre is dedicated to doing research on local community history and has begun recording interviews about various topics. Please rank your interest regarding the following topics.

    Educational Programming

The Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre continues to provide programming opportunities. In order to help us gauge what the public is interested in, please complete the following questions.
Do you have an interest in attending or having your family attend any of the following programs? Choose an option in the drop down boxes below that indicates your interest.

    Advertising/Branding

The Heritage Centre is attempting to improve on the way that it advertises its events, programs and exhibits. Please help us to improve our advertising and branding by answering the questions below.

    Volunteer Program

The Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre has a very strong volunteer program. Current volunteers work on everything from exhibits and research to construction and educational programming. In order to gauge what is important to the people of Red Lake we would like to know what kinds of things you would be interested in volunteering for.

    Exhibits

The Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre is constantly in the process of creating new and exciting exhibits for everyone to enjoy. In order to address what the people of Red Lake are interested in we need to know your thoughts. Please share your thoughts and ideas by answering the questions below.
Sometimes the Heritage Centre brings in travelling exhibits from other museums. This allows the people of Red Lake to view exhibits that they might not otherwise get a chance to see and learn about. In the past Red Lake has brought in artist's work, World War I items from the War Museum (in Ottawa) and examples of traditional First Nations items. Share your thoughts on what you would like to see come to Red Lake by answering the questions below.

    Partnerships and Opportunities

In order to serve the people of Red Lake the Heritage Centre takes on large projects. Often times this means seeking the advice of individuals, committees, institutions and/or establishments. The Heritage Centre often seeks partners in these projects. Are there partnerships that you would like to see expanded in the future? Are there opportunities out there that you think the Heritage Centre has missed? Please share your thoughts below.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey. It will help us in our decision making going forward. When you are done, please hit the submit button below.
