Annco Mines
1965 to 1971 *
Subsidiary of Cochenour-Willans Gold Mines

Annco Mines was one of Cochenour-Willans Gold Mines (Cochenour-Willans) subsidiaries and supplied ore for Cochenour-Willans from 1965 to 1971. Annco Mines was created in 1965 to take control of five claims from Wilmar Mines (for more information on the history of the Wilmar Mines property see the Wilmar Mines page). Annco Mines sunk an internal shaft, and cut five levels to match up with the underground levels at Cochenour-Willans.

Ore from Annco Mines began to be produced in the Cochenour-Willans mill on June 1, 1965. Like the rest of the Cochenour-Willans group of mines, Annco Mines ceased operations in August 1971. Annco Mines contributed roughly $2.1 million of gold to Cochenour-Willans.

* Production from this mine has been included in the production total of Cochenour-Willans Gold Mines
